Is this 135i Dinan Stage 3 totaled?
I purchased the 135i six months ago. I am the 2nd owner. The car is a 2012 with ~33,000 miles. The previous owner put about $10,000 worth of Dinan upgrades into it;
Dinan stage 3 tune, Dinan stage 2 suspension, Dinan exhaust, Dinan intercooler, Dinan oil cooler The Dinan parts were installed at 14,000 miles, four years ago. Pristine, clean, crimson red 135i with not many miles. Here are the pictures of the aftermath.... |

Can't see any pics, but I guess it's really up to your insurance company, if it is insured for replacement. And unfortunately they won't care about the Dinan upgrades for replacement.
If it's not insured for replacement, it's your call, but if there is frame damage, expect $$$. A few years back, my last 135 (a lease) was rear-ended by a Toyota Highlander. The highlander was totaled and I drive home, but the trunk, rear bumper, and left rear quarter panel all had to be replaced along with a bent unibody panel. Fortunately the suspension, axle, and drive train were unaffected. It was down for 6 weeks and repair costs were north of $8k (covered by the other guy's insurance, but still...).
