It could be your valve tronic motor on its way out or if you are lucky like me bmw reset my adaptations and I have not had the code back since, that was about 6 months ago

If it's the valvetronic motor it's not too expensive a part. It's just the labour etc

Went to dealer and had the foreman tech guy reprogram the valvetronic system. Car running perfectly again
