Guys what is this dme update 2.40.1 for n55

My service rep at paul miller, knows nothing about this. HE said there is only updates for the n54. Not one thing for me, but why am
I seeing a recent update on here for n55's. Supposely this is supposed to help further advance our tuning also. Terry said from BMS.

Yea my service advisor said the same thing...granted I just bought my car on the 4th of last month.

I went for an oil change at the dealer last weekend.
My SA told me that there is no software update available for my car >.< (built on Oct 10).

Maybe the n55's...Terry and Mike n54 tuning...maybe they were built even sooner then mine. Because terry started working on tuning before I even brought my car.

My car was built in september and they did the update at the port in october.

My customers car was built in august and had the update done in September at the port.

Give me the last 7 of your vin VM10xxx and I'll tell you if it's been done.

I get my N55 at the end of the month guys, so brand new and only went into production a few weeks ago. Will this have this update already I assume?

I ran your vin and it doesn't need it, but it also says it hasn't been done. I ran the 2 cars after yours and the 2nd one needs DME programming.

hey dicker I pm'ed you the last 7 of my Vin, can you check to see if I need any update. I have a n54 and I'm not sure if I ever received an update since I got the car back in 08.

So this is for models produced awhile ago? Got mine May 2010, bringing it in for annual oil change soon, we'll see what they say.
