Why are their so many 1M for sale in Oz

As the title says. There's currently 18 for sale which seems like a lot for a rare car which where originally highly sought after. What are people getting instead?

Seeing as we had 300 come in originally, 18 represents about 6%, so probably not a lot in the grand scheme of things. And the warranty is only 3 years; so the earlier ones are at the end of the warranty period now, and some people don't feel comfortable owning a car of this value out of warranty. Reality is there are lots of reasons owners may not want to hold on to this car.
Not sure what they're buying instead though. I'm keeping mine, and looking forward to seeing what the M2 is all about.
