BMW Door Lock IQ Test

BMW Door Lock IQ Test
It's pull let go and pull again...
Why do so many women just keep pulling and pulling like if they pulled any harder the door will open!
You almost broke off my F...ING door handle!
Not pissed or anything!

Well its because most other cars just open the first time. When I have someone for the first time in the car, usually I just tell them pull pull twice before they attempt to open.

You can fix this with a little coding. My doors unlock when I pull the key. Then it's the normal 1 pull to open.

Check your manual, you can set the fob to unlock both doors. My gf used to yank on the pass door all the time, pissed me off till I fixed it.

No this is while the car is on, I just pull into the parking spot and haven't even turned the car off yet.

Unless you need or want door to lock while driving disregard. But I have mine set up to not lock while car is in motion. Only locks when I want it to. So no issues with pulling on handle.

Tell your passengers to chill until the car is off...

You should rethink the types of women you associate yourself with. I told my wife one time, "if you wait for me to turn off the car, the doors will unlock automatically." Problem solved.

Whenever I have a passenger in the car I just push the unlock button in the dash before they have a chance to open their door.

All you have to do is give them a chance and explain how the door operated and that is all, no need to get aggravated with your passenger that would you more upset.
I turn this option off on all my vehicles problem solved.

Sounds to me like she couldn't wait to get out of the car.

I can't imagine why.

You could of course prevent it by setting it not to lock your passengers in.

Push Button

I normally push the unlock/lock button on the dashboard just as I stop. This helps the other person open the door and prevents those that are unaware of the locking feature to keep pulling and pulling.

HOW DARE YOU QUESTION THEIR IQ!
Just got a few nasty grams for this one!
It's funny guys don't seem to do this. Maybe we are more aware of how machines work?
But women regardless of their age just yank yank yank YAAAAAAANNNKKK!
Dude let it go and pull again.
My mom almost did it when I went up to visit for Xmas.
Shah "Mom what are you doing? let it go and pull again"
Mom "Why did they do that?"
Shah "It's for safety so that if you get any part of your shirt caught on the handles that the door doesn't accidentally open while the car is moving"
Mom "Wow these Germans thing of everything, very smart!"

Leave it to mom to make the world a better place right?

But your average engineering chick...who has two brain cells....OMG..they just grab that thing and pull as if it were an utter!
