New wheels, roll or cut fenders?

Hello,

I got a set of VMR 710s wrapped in some Nittos for my 2009 128i. The fronts clear just right but the rears being 255's are rubbing just a tad bit over large bumps or high speed turns.

I have researched that cutting may be the way to go but I can only find threads of folks who have rolled their fenders. I only need to make a small 1/4"-1/2" additional space as the upper tire wall is rubbing the inner flange of the fender well. Debating attempting to roll first but then it may make cutting the inner lip off the fenders more difficult.

If anyone has experience or tips for how much to be cutting I would be very grateful as I will likely be taking on this project this coming weekend.

Thank you, and thank you for having me on the forum!
