Arizona_Steve, congrats on getting such a great car. I like having a rare color. After driving it, I'm sure you are finding it well worth the wait. Are you now able to get the M-sport package in the US? I thought that was only with LeMans blue. I got the sport package, but I would have loved the M-sport if it was available a year ago, just for the wheels.

The M-Sport package is available in the USA for 2009; both 128 and 135 have the option, and there are a selection of colors you can choose with M-Sport.
Le Mans Blue, however, is only available on the 135 and only with M-Sport.

This car might as well have a ///M badge on the back of it, after all it seems to be everywhere else!
Wheels: Under the door: On the gear shifter: ...And you were absolutely right about it bringing a smile to my face when I go a little heavy on the accelerator pedal!

No front plate? Can you get away with that in Alberta?
My Bluewater 128i is on the train from Halifax as I write this. I can't wait for it to arrive. |

You don't need to sigh, because BMW in BC has the security system which AB BMW don't have, otherwise asked and paid for.
And I also know that Vancouver dealers are way~ nicer than AB dealers because they are competitive which means better deal & less time wasted. If I get BMW next time, I am getting it from BC not from Calgary for sure. |

"security system"?
Can you explain that? If you are referring to an alarm system, I don't think that 128s here have them unless specifically ordered that way. You have me intrigued |

He told me the worth of the system is around $700 which I think covers little bit of PST if you would think that way. This is not confirmed with any BC SA, so if you would, please do so and let me know. |

Here's mine.
Here's my 128i. Interior is grey leather. I find it very classic and chic looking, like the kid of car that 10 years from now will seem like a classic.
