For looks, a reasonable price and reduced weight, I would recommend either Breyton GTS-Rs or Apex ARC-8s in black. Breytons come in stock widths/offsets. The ARC-8s can be purchased with +1" widths with appropriate offsets for the 1 series. Black wheels with dark tint (a must in S.FL) really accentuate the color. It's a bit more aggressive looking but still has class. The only draw back of black wheels is they show brake dust much more than silver wheels. The dust is actually brown when seen on black wheels. Switching to a low dust pad like cool carbons helps, but you will still want to clean your wheels at least once a week.

Feeling a lack of confidence in my color choice
Hey Folks: I just ordered my first BMW, a 2012 135i Coupe. I was going back and forth trying to decide on the color, put the order in as Blue Water Metallic and then planned to change to White ... only to find out that very morning it went into production (2 weeks ahead of schedule) and now I can't change it. So, what do you think? Are you happy with the color you chose? How does it look, really? I've seen the color in person on a 328, but can't imagine it on the 135. Thoughts?

I originally wanted a white 135i, until I saw the blue water metallic in person. The color is very unique and shows off the lines of the 135i much better than white. The color also takes on a very different look depending on the lighting. I think you'll be very pleased with your choice.

Hey Thanks Pig Farmer. That IS the issue ... I haven't seen the color in person on a 1, just on a 328, which looked kind of conservative. I know my combo (BWM/Taupe Leather/Glacier Silver Aluminum trim) is unusual (and my dealer says "feminine" but hey, I'm a chick). And as someone said on this thread, as long as you don't drive it like a grandma, it doesn't matter what color it is. Thanks for boosting my confidence. I've got another 4 - 6 weeks to wait to see how it turned out ...

Fantastic pics guys. I too originally wanted an AW E82 until I came across this ad:
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...ngId=371756961 What a stunning color. Beautiful and perfect for the E82's lines.
