Welded - Purchase a complete Quaife final drive ready to install in your vehicle. Any BMW independent can install this for you.

You will need a 13N for the auto 135i.

I don't know anyone up in that area, but you can call and check with any transmission and differential specialty shops.

Yes, with one wheel on snow and one on asphalt, the Quaife was working and the car accelerated from a stop as it should.

This post deserves a bump so for those on the fence between the Quaife and the Wavetrac, this may help them decide.

Agreed. Lots of speculation and uncertainty out there. Nice to know that a Montreal local has put the Quaife LSD to the test on slippery streets...
