Personally I dont think you spent enough on the baseball card, try a mickey mantle rookie card. Dont you know you need to spend $$$$$ to get results?

My main concern is giving up 2/3 of the gears...in fact, the low end torque is so intense it can pop a wheelie effortlessly in the right gear. Will I miss this?

Also, will the weight and friction of gaining an extra pair of wheels slow me down?

Seriously, 100 kms on a bicycle is way more than two Big Macs!

Really? 1M vs a bicycle? OK, fair question. It really is more comfortable than a bicycle. I ride a Ridgeback Flight 02 commuter bike (MTB type geometry on skinny tyres) often in London where road surface is poor. I've never once thought my car was less comfortable.

Even my Honda Civic Type R was more comfortable than my cycle.

I have however tried to sit in a Lotus Elise, this is the only car I've been in that is more uncomfortable than a bicycle.

I'll resist comparing living with a 1M vs a bicycle as someone has already pointed out the major differences in performance and practicality!

1970-ish Colnago Super, road bike. All steel. Rim brakes. Leather saddle.

Sorry I can't be more helpful with the comparison.

Can some of you tell me what to expect when I sit in the 1M for the first time?

All feedback appreciated. Thanks!
1M is stiffer than mountain bike and noisier too! You also get 0 MPG (Miles Per Granola bar) in the 1M. On the mountain bike I get about 15 Miles Per Granola Bar.
