The 128i Experience
Welcome to the BMW 128i experience.
Experience the LCI 2012 128i coupe in a new way. Hi guys I created a fan video to celebrate BMW. I love my BMW 128i, and want to thank BMW for making such an amazing car. I am blessed to have such an awesome car and enjoy driving it everyday. I created this app for pure fun, and offer it as a thanks/tribute to BMW. Because I used images from BMW.com, this app WILL not be released because I do not want to be sued : Anyways, enjoy the video, and lets all thank BMW for giving us amazing 1 series!! BTW, i know there are many things missing/looks unfinished, but I made this app for fun to see what I could do and experiment around I think BMW should advertise more on mobile applications. It could work especially well for the hatchback F20 as people purchasing those would tend to be younger, and it would fit will with the sport and urban twin stuff they got going for them

I believe the current sport rims are standard now for the LCI 128i and the sport package has new "aero" rims in its place.

How do you like the new front bumpers on your 128i compared to the older ones? I'd love to see some photos if possible, as I haven't really seen any real-world photos of this one yet (especially in crimson, which is what I'm considering).

The new front bumpers are more like Peugot's front bumpers or any other European car. I am over here now and those little slits are very popular style. I prefer the old style or just the old Euro flat bar

I like the older 128i front bumpers to be honest. btw I have a 2009 car, just did the LCI iphone thing for fun, and had an excuse to do it(to celebrate the LCI xD)
The pre-lci 128i bumpers fog lights look good and the black area cuts up the color of the car well. What ruins the new bumper for me in terms of looks is the fog lights. They look out of place and don't like the circle design of them While I think it is cool the LCI 128i bumpers implement the air flow tech, I would have liked to see them do it using the pre LCI bumper. I don't like the circular fog lights at all. Pics for reference: vs

Yeah, I definitely prefer the more squared off nature of the previous bumper. I'm not sure it's something one would focus on after a while, but the older one definitely looked a little more aggressive.
Btw, found a thread with a few more photos of the LCI..... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=438895 Not a huge fan of the eye-lashes either. |

The problem I have with our Pre-LCI bumpers is that there is too much body color going on in the lower grille area. I ended up blacking out the T-Bars for a more stealthy appearance:
