I've just put down my deposit for a AW 1M today, delivery should be around May/June. I read the article from BMW Car Magazine and was a bit disappointed with the engine but well, BMW made so much promises the car will drive like no other and will be a man/machine in one car. Let's see if it really lives up with those promises.

My plans;

Performance wise:
- Performance intake thing .. something that help breathing in better.
- De-Cat and put titanium exhaust
- Down pipe
- Lightweight Pully
- Lightweight flywheel
- Maybe a set of final drive gear - set
- Will NOT touch the ECU as I don't want to have any warranty issue

Handling wise:
- Sway Bar
- Will need to drive it to know what I wan to do with the suspension.
- I think maybe a front and rear camber adjustment plate

Brake:
- Funny the 135i have 4 pot brakes whereas 1M only have 1 pot, I'll go with some harder brake pads to start with.

Rubber:
- Some cut slicks for sure ... Hoosiers maybe!
- Maybe back to 18" if I can't find any gearset available

Exterior:
- 1490kg sounds a bit heavy for a small car like that and can you belive it actually weighs more than a Lamborghini Gallardo? Will go for a complete diet program. Revozport will be doing all these for me;

- Carbon Bonnet (but will paint to white)
- Carbon Interior Door Panels (something like the E46 CSL)
- Carbon Roof
- Carbon Trunk (but will paint to white)
- Carbon Rear Diffuser
- Carbon Skirts
- Carbon Mirror Cover
- BMW Performance Seats
- BMW xmas lighting steering wheel

Last but not least .... Tinted windows!

Funny how you're planning to do a full downpipe-back exhaust, pulleys and swap out an already lightened flywheel but you're worried about an ECU upgrade voiding the warranty.

Btw, the 135 front calipers are 6-pot but they're horrible on the track. It's all for looks.

These are just plans ... will really have to drive the car to see exactly what needed. Mechanical parts can always be bolted back in with some sweats and no one can really tell but not the ECU. The point is not to FXXK up the engine and nowadays the Diagnostic tools recorded everything did with the car's ECU, and BMW HK will be Very happy to see that as evidence to void the car's engine warranty.

Re brakes, that's what BMW said too, then why can't they just put something seriously work in the first place?
