128i exhaust conversion to quad pipes

Is there any issues converting a 128i to having quad pipes. Will there need to be any heat proofing on the right hand side where the battery is located?

I believe the 128 with the single sided exhaust doesn't have the same heat proof panel that the dual pipe cars have?

I believe you have to replace the whole plastic battery tray with one for a 1M (which actually came with quad exhausts), as well as do some bumper/diffuser work. Very cool look, but a good deal of work...

There are threads here (use Google) where people have done it.

I looked into this a while ago, and the problem for me was 1) not having a diffuser, the bumper cut would look different than the other side (because it has an inner rolled lip this wouldn't) and 2) charcoal canister was in the way i believe
