Escort 9500i location installation w/Direct Wire Smart Cord

The installation is simple and has been covered in many post on this sight. :

What was bothering me was were to place the Direct Wire Smart Cord. My initial idea was to mount it in the ashtray, but the wires just won't fit behind the tray itself.

Then I moved to the side of the center council, but my knee would hit it if it was moved far up or my wife would hit it if it was mounted far back as she need to move the seat up.

SO....here is my final solution for detector location and Direct Wire Smart Cord mounting. Now I have quick mutes or saving GPS false locations without moving my hands far from the steering wheel.

THat's a great mounting spot. I'm just using the regular cord, and it's sort of a pain to have to reach up and hit the mute button with it so close to the headliner. I'd been thinking about buying another smart cord but hadn't figured out a good spot for it. Thanks.

Looks good, I couldn't get mine to fit above the mirror like I wanted so I mounted under my mirror. I used just a standard cord not the smart.
