Electic folding mirrors activated from keyfob
Hi all,
I picked up my 135 yesterday and I love it. I love the folding mirrors but want to know if there is any way of having them fold away themselves when I lock the car from the keyfob. Does anyone know if this is possible? Mike |

Looks like BMW took that feature away with recent cars. I know the E90 doesn't do it, but my old E87 120i (2004) did it. Didn't pay extra for the feature on the 135i this time around.

Thanks for that, definately what I need. Works out at a little over £100 for me so will look into that as a future purchase. Right now I have only covered 200 miles in the car so I am just looking to enjoy it to the max for the short term.
Thanks again for the link, thats spot on. |

You can do that with the SmartTop module. Not sure if you can put it in a Coupe, but its way cool on the verts. 2 clicks of the lock button on the fob and the mirrors go in and the top goes up.
