CIC to CIC high (NBT) possable?
well just sitting here and wondering if the retrofit of the new CIC high (nbt) is possible to retrofit to our cars that have the current gen CIC installed, ive heard of the 5 and 6 series being able to upgrade for around a grand, and just wondering if anybody had heard anything.
I think the newer F model cars run the newer CIC high as of 2012 or 13. here is a pic showing the evolution, |

got a hitback from bimmer retrofit and they are working on a convertion for our cars so thats cool,
here is their email to me. Hello Christian, Thanks for your email. At this time NBT is strictly for F-series, NBT cannot be installed in E-series. We are working on a solution that will enable us to install NBT into E-series, but it is not ready yet. And also, the functionality will be limited. Your vehicle is fully loaded with nav, combox, 6nr, etc., I wouldn’t recommend NBT retrofit for you. Thank you, so who knows im interested in what limited functionality they are talking about. |
Appreciate
