I was working before now into a very big office with 18 colleagues, imagine the range of loudness, concentrate working was a dream. Now I got nearly my own zone, and thats really a dream.

I don't see why you hate it. I love it. I can walk around right in the streets. There is like a 15 second buffer on all street crossings +/- 15 seconds of it actually changing to the white "walk" dude. If I see a nice car with NY plates, I know they are local, so I can wave them down and ask questions like... how do I get to the Statue of Liberty or where a nice pizza place would be. Lot's of nice locals around to ask if they know how to get good seats for Hamilton. It is a lovely place. The key is to master a facial expression that lets them know you will absolutely run them over if they set a foot inside that crosswalk. I've had people start and then back up after we make eye contact. Worth it.
