Finally got around to getting the M Sport bumper painted and installed with the BMW Performance diffuser and CF lip and it looks amazing. Completely changes it from the back and I can't wait to do the front later on this year. This is the last thing I do to my baby till I come back from my trip and reinstate my license plates for the summer. She's off to storage next week but this is a great way to celebrate her 2 year birthday with me. Fitment is spot on and the weave is immaculate! The shop that did the job did a fantastic job at matching the paint (A96 Mineralweiss Metallic)

And yes I know the PDC holes don't have the sensors because that isn't getting done till June (nothing is wired, just the bumper got put on) even though I have the kit now (when I plan to reinstate the plates for the summer time). If it gets warmer and I have time, I will probably attempt this myself.

Before and after pics below.

I’m going to go with stock rear rotors and pads for the time being. Debating between painting the stock rear calipers to match or not...

I did the same thing a while back, and doing the plugs fixed a lot of my complaints. Mine were wayyy worse than your old ones

Fitment looks great! Where did you source your bumper from if you don't mind?

I’m on a roll! Pulled the air box, ditched the dirty old filter for a K&N, replaced the inlet hose with a silicone one, deleted charcoal filter and cleaned the MAF. This car should breathe better than it ever has!

What did I do to/for my 1er today?

Thought about it. I'm guessing it's sitting at the dealership with the dash taken out and parts all over the place. Hope to get it back next week. ;-/

Don't have pictures yet and forgot to post but added VRSF 5" FMIC, blackout kidney grilles, yanked out the other 3 lower grilles and spray painted them gloss black. Not the best quality obviously but it came out looking clean. I'll probably end up going with the 1M style bumper anyway. Downpipes also arrived finally and will have those installed by a shop because screw doing that on the ground.

Definitely looks better than stock. Black looks best on most colors, but I can see satin being better for some.

Rub the grilles with steel wool or green/red scotch pad. Really easy, takes a minute. Tried it, but didn't care for it after a bit. Just doesn't really jive with the rest of the car unless you do it to all chrome everywhere maybe?

Cool, so just like brushing a watch. Don’t know if I’ll like it, but I have an extra grill to try it out. My car is cashmere, so it could work (and it’ll match my wheels.)

Cool, but not feeling the zip-ties. Time to level up.

It needs more trimming, apparently.
