Lux 180 Flickering?

Just finished installing Lux 180 bulbs in my 135i. Looks great but the weird thing is when I start the car I get flickering for a few seconds. Both sides. I see others that have mentioned this but has anyone been able to stop this from happening?
Interestingly, I contacted Lux and the response was to run my DRL's all the time. Hmmm...doesn't really solve the problem.
Fortunately for me, I purchased on Amazon and worst case I can just return them.

I'm not sure exactly why it happens, but it's the CANbus system checking for bulb failure. I assume the system pulses when you first start the car to measure the resistance on each bulb and check for continuity breaks. For all I know it happens with all bulbs, but incandescent bulbs don't light instantly like LEDs so you don't see it. Either way, I think this is unavoidable with LED bulbs.

i hear you.
But given the fact that the Lux kits are priced at what they are you'd think there'd be no issues with them.
Also, does this happen with everyone? If so, then I'm fine. But if it only happens to some cars then why?

Ah, that makes sense.
Do you know what to look for when reading the scanner?
Thanks

As mentioned above, it's the bulb check. I don't remember the exact coding, but I disabled bulb check at startup recently. I was getting a fault code for my active headlights even though they were functional - one was replaced at dealer and they couldn't get the code to stop appearing. Disabled startup check and no more codes.. so it's definitely in there. I would need to go back and check what I changed. FYI I coded via laptop and INPA etc.

The flash of power to check the circuit integrity isn't high enough to fire an incandescent bulb but with the low power requirements it fires the LED. Will do this on any LED installed on a incandescent bulb check circuit.

as mentioned above if it bothers you just disable bulb check
