Tickets!

so about three weeks ago i got two tickets! one was a speeding violation and the other was not stoping at a stop sign. So my question is does the stop sign infraction affect my insurance? I am planning on doing traffic school for the speeding one but im still worried about my other ticket

I got two tickets in a short period of time. I was able to do internet traffic-school for one of them, and a 12-hour traffic school at an actual classroom. It ate up a couple weekends, but took care of the points.

Try going to court to fight it, and maybe you can get something similar.

I must admit this was about five years ago. I'm sure what has changed since then.

My advice is to try going to traffic court, but the problem you might run into is that you might not be able to finish traffic school for the first ticket, before you have to appear for the second day in court.

Good luck!

I was under the impression you could only get rid of 1 moving violation (points). Stop sign ticket will affect your insurance, as it is also a moving violation. However, whether or not you can get rid of both tickets may depend on your age.

My driving record is horrible, so I know from experience - unfortunatly. You can only get traffic school for one, and you will just have to take the hit on the other. Or fight the one ticket and keep postponing until the last possible day - there is a chance the cop won't show up and you are off the hook
