2011 Combox and Telematic not working

Hello all.
I have a 2011 BMW 135i N55 Cabriolet with the M-Sport suspension. It does not have I-Drive. When I bought it the Bluetooth or Auxiliary/USB jack did not work.
I took it to the dealer and they said my Combox Telematic unit was bad. I have the Harmon Kardon BE B043. I have found some used ones online. Will they have to be coded to my cpu?
If so, how do I do that or do I need to bring it somewhere?

Is the Combox plug and play if I buy the same model number?
