Water Pump Gone; What else to do?

So my water pump and tstat died on my 2012 135 yesterday . It was bound to happen I guess, and luckily I was close to home when the fan became loud and temperature signs were noted. I will tow it to my mechanic shortly.

That said, I have 69,000km (43,000 miles), and was wondering what else I could get done while it is in the shop. Spark plugs were changed about 19,000km ago, but was thinking about doing a walnut blast and replacing all of the coils. Charge pipe is also on my list to research.

Any ideas on the above or anything else I should maybe consider? Only mod is a PE.

Just water pump, thermostat, and maybe the U shaped hose that connects them with the cover. You have an N55, walnut blast won't really be required.

Maybe an upgrade to your stock Diverter Valve? The GFB DV+ I think is the only option but I've always heard good things.

+1 for the GFB. If you ever plan to do it nows the best time.
