OK, I am not so smart.
I read these LSD posts and don't see anything about 128 MT fitment?
Can some one splain it to me?
LSD for e9x e8x BMW has two pumpkins

Large and small
Ours is the small 188mm one

So the links in my post mention the different models available by that vendor

Next the final drive ratio like 3.23 doesn't mean the LSD is 3.23 it means that the gear inside the pumpkin assembly

So those that upgrade the ratio usually get a complete pumpkin With LSD installed with a new ratio from certain vendors.

Those that do only LSD use their own pumkin and open it to swap out the open differential for LSD

Same as 135i

Front is something like et 38-45
Rear is 45-50
All depends on wheels

If you search BMW wheel database you will see offset for each type of wheel BMW has made

My winter set up is 17x8 et40 on Msport height and 225/40 tires

For those guys running euro airbox's:

Ecs lists the mfr p/n as 7552437 which realoem shows only off the e9x chassis. But why not order p/n 7555287 which is off the e8x and e9x chassis?

A eurobox is a euro box - therte are about 2-3 p/n for it

your first one seems to be e90 330i spec, the other is the one found everywhere n52 and maybe n53

The only issue may be active steering but i think it already accommodates that

Check realoem, a long as N52 engine is used you are okay

Go to the wheels and tires section and there is a sticky about FAQ. There's a chart or link in there for the chart of wheel specs for the 1 series

Both those part numbers, when you go into the "more details" section, are for n52 motors. Im sure both will work, but I'm digging around ebay.co.uk or ebay.de for one.

EDIT: Found some airbox's from an overseas warehouse. Seems the 7552437 is listed from a N52B30A and the 7555287 is listed from a N52B25A. Either way it's going on my N51. $60 price difference.

Shipping and import tax should be probably $70 in total. Goodluck!
Under the e90 in the first link there is a box for under 140 usd

There are several wreckers. The one that used on Blidebasen was :
http://www.atracco.se/

Key term I asked in email was: Luftrenare - BMW 3-Series- 325i 330i - 2006-2012

I don't understand the hard on for the Euro Intake box. You're USDM box is just as good - if not better, and the AFE SI intake is best.

I think people think it looks better. And the filter is 2% easier to change.

I agree easier filter change, looks nice, more air volume inside box for engine to breathe.
If one gets used Euro-airbox - One can easily add some holes to make a Afe or Simota. The silicone hose also makes this close to AFE

Aren't you supposed to be enjoying europe? Spend less time on the forums, more time exploring haha.

Installed a performance wheel today. A buddy of mine gave me a good deal on this and a v2 electronic one, but he didn't have any of the eletronic install stuff so i don't know if it's even usable. Regardless this one is awesome and i'm a sucker for flat bottom steering wheels.

It feels 1000% better than the non sport original wheel.

Sweet, a 128i discussion thread. Just recently got a blue 2010 128i, drives beautiful. It's stock but I eventually want to get a cold air intake, exhaust, and front lip and possibly a spoiler. I don't want to spend too much for the cosmetic looks. I guess I will see what's out there.

Je128i... Welcome to the club. So is it an M-Sport? Also, the best engine mod you can do to start is the 3-Stage Manifold, which begins the process of turning your car into a 130i. Will add the most horsepower for the money. ST|g has a great article on the parts you need and how to do it. I am still saving my pennies, but I expect to install in the spring.
