CRC GDI Intake Cleaning on N54

I've been looking at this product, and yes i know this is not a substitution for Walnut blasting. I'm looking at it as a maintenance item and possibly something to clean up my turbos.

CRC told me that this would not damage my map sensor and i can just spray it into my intake when the filter is removed.

Has anyone ever tried this? Concerns I should be thinking about?

We have done the BG GDI cleaning, but by removing the MAP sensor and using a pressurized tank to mist the chemical into the intake manifold.

It works well, but nothing like walnut shell blasting.
