Mine does not...When CA is acting up the keyless entry buttons on the fob do nothing either...

Update.
CA still dead. Waiting for a part for a over 10 days now. During the original CA inspection, the dealer found a bad (they said water compromised) sensor in the door. The service visit was 3 days after the windows were tinted. It was replaced, but CA still did not work. They said a second sensor in the back of the car was bad and needed to be ordered. After speaking with the SA yesterday, he explained that it was a sensor in the rear tail light that was in question. We'll see when the part gets here.

Sounds like they miss-diagnosed it the first time. The first sensor was probably fine.

question for all you drivers with CA issues.... Do you have the iPod option??? I do and when I removed my ipod the other day magicly my CA started working as it should....I pluged my hard drive in to it as well and it started acting up right away....I had someone sit in the car and hold the hard drive and until it spun down the CA & keyless entry would not work......while it was acting up I had the person in the car unplug the drive and instantly the remote and CA worked....Just some food for thought....if the drive/iPod hasnt shut down the car wont shut down either and therfor wont lock. The same goes for uplocking....when you walk up to the car the drive starts to spin as SOON as the key is detected (before you get your hand in the door hanlde) and if it starting up the car has to wait.

I hope I don't encounter any issues - I plan to tint my 135 as soon as I take US delivery. I checked with my sales advisor to see if I could remove Comfort Access and he said my order is locked in and cannot be changed.

Crossing my fingers...

Picked up my car Saturday, put the iPod in, and have no issues with CA so far. I'm going to get a few other things done before I tint the windows just to see how this all works out, just in case that's the issue.

I have the Ipod and just did my ceramic tint, no issues with CA whatsoever. On the side note, I informed my tinter about some issues some 135 owners have been having with CA after tinting and so he made sure to prevent any water going into the door when he was doing the tint job. It sure pays to pick the best tint artist in my area!

CA was the one and only option I had my doubts about when ordering my car, but and now that I have it, I wonder how I ever lived without one! Its one of the best options I have ever had on a car, period.

note to self: delete comfort access from list of options. Don't need this hassle. Seems like I can take the extra effort to click a button to open the car and stick the key in.

probably because you went to fields and they don't have a clue what they are doing or how to take care of the BMW brand. they are running the name into the ground IMO. if i keep having probs i'm going porsche.

My car has the CA, iPod and it is tinted and there was one issue when the CA wouldn't work and I had to use the button on the fob to unlock the door. We were able to determine that it was because my wife left her purse in the car with the other fob in it. Apparently the sensors get confused? Otherwise, no problems.

Just got my car today with IPOD and comfort access. Works awesome. Went down and had ceramic tint installed. Still works perfect.
