Why Can't I Select "Arrow View" on Nav?

I'm using the split screen for my nav. When I select the view options for the smaller screen (NOT the main screen), I see the complete list, including "Facing North," "Direction of Travel," "Perspective View," etc. But "Arrow View" is blanked-out. I can see it, but I can't select it. Can anyone tell me why? That's the ONE view I find useful for the split screen. It must be available, cause my sales rep (who knows his stuff) mentioned it to me when I picked up the car. I used "Arrow View" in Germany (during ED), and I really wanted to use it here.

Any ideas?

Yeah - it's only selectable when you have guidance active.

I just want to be able to leave it in that mode as the default mode, just like any other mode ("Facing North," "Direction of Travel," etc.). Not a big deal now that I know. I just got the car, so I'm still figuring all this out.
