Cool! I did this instead...
This is what you get, when you marry a Mini Cardelli Clamp used in pro photography with a Manfrotto 484 ball head. The clamping surface is rubberized, and fits just as easily on a door frame, as it does on the headrest post, and locks down incredibly tightly. Here it is mounted (very strong mount): Plus you can clamp it elsewhere: |

look at this image
you see all the way on the left of the rod theres a tripod mount http://www.n54tech.com/forums/attach...1&d=1263079349 you simple screw the bolt onto ur camera, all cameras have this standard bolt compatability
