Got the replacement little more than a week ago, M4 6spd Convertible. DCT ain't bad, better than the automatic only future, but need as many manuals as possible until then.

Going from a 128i FBO to a 135i
I have never been in a 135 but my car is plenty quick.. I can only imagine how it would feel to go even quicker. I just love the E82s so much.. so having a 1 in general to me is like owning my dream car.. I'm easy to please 🤷*♂️ If I had a good amount of money and could afford one, a 1M would be great! |

One of the guys who works for a company I use has a '11 N55 135i and we started chatting about the cars and what's done to them. I mentioned that I had done MHD S1 and how different (better) the car has felt since doing it.
Well after a quick round the block run and a few snaps and crackles from the exhaust he decided pretty quickly that he NEEEEEDS to do the tune. 10 minutes later he calls me and has already got the app, bought the license's and was asking for a tutorial haha |

Give it a few more months, and you could pick up a nice C7 for the same price if you are into Corvettes. Just an intake and some long tube headers that are easy driveway swaps, and with a little tuning you have 450+ HP and TQ to the wheels!

I had a SUV (Suzuki GV) when I bought my 128i and used it most of the time for daily driver duty until it got to around 150K miles and the check engine light started coming on for the oxygen sensor. My son's car was at about 250K miles so I decided he needed the GV worse than I did a nasty O2 sensor replacement opportunity.
So my e88 assumed full time daily driver duty. We added a hitch so I can pick up larger things. It works but I'm thinking the replacement may be another SUV. I might even just keep the e88. I've been comparing prices and features between the X1, X2 and Mazda CX5. If I had to choose today it would be the CX 5. The top two versions of the Mazda have a turbo 2.5L that makes about 250hp. A key feature they have that no small BMW SAV has is ventilated seats. In hot climates, they are nice. A fully loaded Mazda is about the same price as a BMW with a lot less options.

CX-5 leases are also crazy cheap. It's a great car, maybe the best midsize suv on the market for the price. Beautiful inside and out. The turbo also takes well to tunes lol.
