MHD N55 & WedgePerformance Testing
Just a quick update and sneak peak.. My 2012 135i MSport DCT was VIP delivered on Friday. Spent the past two days remapping tables and testing. After only six revisions, things are looking really good. I'll be doing some VBOX testing which should give a bit better perspective of power and performance, but for now I have a Virtual Dyno and log to share. Once things are finalized I'll hit the dyno.
Special thanks to Martial MHD Tuning for all the hard work to bring a dream to reality. WedgePerformance-n55 98g0b Stg 1 |

It looks like it's out now publicly for n55? For us first time MHD flashers, is there a set of directions to follow to flash? Like a DIY guide? What all do we need? |

I am glad to see the N55 getting some love from the MHD/wedge team. I still have not tuned my N54, but without a doubt I will be using MHD when the time comes. Keep up the good work!

Does this work in conjunction with a JB4 or replace it? I just flashed Jb4 ISO on my car a couple months ago. I have since gone FBO and been using map 2 but I feel like my car is missing something, and not taking full advantage of my upgrades.
Didn't notice anything at all after the FMIC install , and only noticed the exhaust was much louder and a bit better throttle response/turbo spool with the catless downpipe. From what I keep reading on the forums it seems I should have noticed a much bigger difference having those parts on? The biggest difference I find now is just colder temps vs the summer temps of 27C etc,, the car feels like it gained 20-30 hp and a lot more torque at around 12-16C. downside is I'm losing tire grip as it gets colder, sigh. |

I'm not sure either, that's why I'm asking. Why is it better to go with just the MHD tune. Will I get more power this way? I don't have access to e85 as they just closed down the last gas station in the area that had it. I was told the only way for me to get more power was to go with a meth kit then. What will use my Bolt on parts best?

I always wonder why people ask if it will make more power.... Who cares if it drives better and is better for your car, especially for the guys with DCTs. Depending on mods and fuel, a proper tune will make more power than a boost controller alone. Granted, there will be flash tuning to use with the backend boost controller, but why? So you can hold onto a $500 boost controller with a few bells and whistles that messes with the can bus? Did I mention all the channels MHD logs? Or how fast and smooth logging is? Meth is a good option if you don't have E85. Really makes this car run smooth and allows for a good increase in power. |

I'm guessing eventually we wouldn't need to have it bench flashed? I'm sure we will have more info from MHD soon but just wondering what your thoughts are.. My 13 135 is my daily so it would be tough to send out the ECU.

Keep an eye out for MHD to post up information. It's my understanding that it's target release date is December and pricing is still not determined.
