BMW PPK warranty. Does it have one?

As I understand, PPK is a genuine BMW part, so when installed by a BMW dealer does it carry its own warranty? And if so, how does installing it affect coverage of other drivetrain components? I know it doesn't void warranty if your car still has one. That is clear.
But here is a scenario:
When one installs an aftermarket tune, reflash ECU, use a piggy, whatever... and there is an issue while your car is under warranty, they will blame it on the tune and you are in big trouble. Once warranty is over, they don't care - you're on your own. Petty straight forward.
But, by the same logic, if your low mileage, 100% maintained, STOCK car is without any issues and checks out in all respects.... but is out of warranty, your dealer installs PPK and subsequently your turbo fails (as an example) - who is to blame? is it the dealer and BMW tune? Or this time around, tune does not count?

The PPK is such a mild tune it wouldn't stress any part to the point of pre mature failure. If the part fails with the PPK installed, it's going to fail without the PPK.

And it really is up to the dealer and the techs working on your car whether they'll harass you about non BMW modifications when under warranty. I've had my modified car serviced by my BMW dealer under warranty without any issues. For the two issues off the top of my head which had aftermarket modifications involved, I had no issues with warranty coverage. The first one was the rubberized finish around the front trim housing for the nav screen. The rubber finish was peeling up. I told my SA upfront I had worked on the area but didn't scratch or nick the trim when installing the Bimmertech backup camera retrofit. The service manager wanted to take a look at the housing. When he saw no signs of abuse or impact damage, he authorized the warranty repair. The second involved the long chronicled driveability issues I've had with my DCT. I had enough of the recent issue with the A/C turned on I took it in for another attempt at resolving the problem. Again, I told my SA about the Dinan S2 tune I had flashed in the DME. The work the tech did which resolved my driveability issues was also covered under warranty with no hassle or finger pointing from the dealer.
