are all aftermarket M3 sway bars compatible with e8x 135i non-M?

maybe a dumb question - the oem stuff is interchangeable. is there any clearance issues in the back that might make slight bend differences difficult to accomodate? i havent had a chance to inspect closely.

Hotchkis have released a great kit that is both hollow and adjustable front and rear with published rates for the e9x M3. These options are exactly what i was looking for. I've emailed several suppliers and hotchkis with no response.

Front 4 way adjustable- 295 lbs/in, 335 lbs/in, 380 lbs/in, 435 lbs/in
Stiffness over stock: +52%, +73%, +96%, +124%

Rear 3 way adjustable - 175 lbs/in, 195 lbs/in, 215 lbs/in
Stiffness over stock: +56%, +74%, +92%

Front: ø1.25” x .156”wall (ø32mm x 4mm wall)
Rear: ø1.00” x .156”wall (ø25.4mm x 4mm wall)

yes, they are. However, you do not want too large of a rear bar on the E8x and E9x chassis, especially if you do not have a limited slip diff. The inside tire will try to lift off of the ground in a hard turn and you will have a great loss in traction.

If you must have larger rear bar, set it at full soft or just run the slightly larger E90 or E93 M3 rear bar and an aftermarket adjustable front bar.
