Thanks

It's actually a replica - fit is pretty good and it's $140 less than the OE piece. Might be motivation to get one

Thanks, but I've got my eye on the emotors2000's painted version. Not a fan of CF at all.

I had just finished sealing my front end and waxing it so , I needed to do something fast and easy. So I did the Golf tee mod, well I modded the mod. I used a small fine thread bolt and some teflon tape to seal the tube. As for the canister I used what we call speed tape. It's an aluminum tape they use on aircraft, and that was used to seal the connector on the canister. It cured my itch for the day...lol

  • Rechecked ac refrigerant pressure and ripped out the engine cowling to prep for engine bay detail.
  • Ripped out the trunk liner to prep for rear suspension repairs.
Next up, Shiftek SSK, rear suspension repair, Swift coilover springs & goodies, TCK Racing camber plates.

SpaceE82 Those pedals look great. I need to get a set of carpets for my car too. I have the BMW all-weather mats, which are great, but the rubber stains shoes. Where did you get your mats, and how was the pricing?

I also got the mats off eBay. I think they were roughly $95

That's not terrible for the mats, but crazy expensive for some carpeting... oh BMW...

The OEM winter mats are well made, though. Worth every penny.

On Thursday, I did a sick U turn on an empty intersection, utilising the vehicle's engine power and rear-wheel drive architecture... if you know what I mean. I don't think I've been this proud of myself this year.

You mean you gave it an appropriate amount of accelerator and gingerly turned around with the rear differential allowing both tires to spin at different rates resulting in a smooth and uneventful U-turn???

Was bound to happen sooner or later. Fortunately I was just on the way to a family gathering, and don't have any grand important plans for the weekend.
Been sitting here 2 hours.
Now it's getting dark, I'm really hungry, and AAA Plus hasn't been able to track down a driver willing to do his job and tow me up to 100 miles.
But hey. BMW!

Sitting so long the Hazards turned off!

I just deleted my Clutch Delay Valve. Was giggling and grinning like a child for the entire test drive. It's amazing what that little pin hole does to the car!

I also did the front brake pads yesterday, and got those nice and bedded-in. They feel lovely, and don't SQUEAL! I did the rears about two weeks ago.

Friday, I ordered an ECS 15mm sway bar, Lemförder heavy duty end links, rear ///M-spec subframe bushings, ///M-spec front position differential carrier bushings, and Powerflex purple rear position differential carrier bushings. This will all be very fun to install!

Car still drives fantastic at 163,000 miles. Not a single major problem yet.

If you want to save some money on the sway bar, the 335xi comes with a 15 mm rear that can be had on eBay for $75-80.

Just had my 1er smog tested for the 1st time. Passed. Hallelujah!

Actually, had no reason to think it wouldn't pass.

Don't have to worry about that for another 2 years.
