Which 4\" Mids Should I Install?

I\'m currently leaning towards focal 100krs.

I currently have some coaxial alpines, after adding a amp I want to get some very good component speakers.

What does everyone recommend?

I am extremely happy with my Morels. Expensive, but they sound fantastic.

I installed Morel Hybrid Ovation in the doors and picked-up a new in box Kicker SSMB8 for the underseat woofers. I tried getting Jehnert for the underseat, but they are way to expensive in North America.

Hi

Is the Kicker SSMB8 direct fit over the stock underseat woofers?
Being trying hard to find one and heard they are no longer in production.

Thanks.

The SSMB8 require a spacer (contact "Jtsherri" via gmail).

1/2" for L7/HK and HiFi systems
3/4" for Base/stereo systems

You must also tell JTsherri not to make the hole any greater than 7.25 in across. Probably better still at 7.10 . The normal spacers he makes are about .25 to .4" too big in diameter and makes it very hard to align the screws without breaking off the inner edge of MDF

I got the Kickers from a guy who sold another pair on ebay a few months ago. I contacted him to see if he had any more sitting on the shelf and by chance he did have one set left. I lucked out big time. These are very good speakers and they have a nice punch to the base. Yes, you do need a spacer. I just made my own since I have tonnes of woodworking tools.
