Tire fitment
Hey guys, since i'm really bad with that i'm asking you...
I just got my 135i with stock 18" wheels sporting 225/40/18f and 255/35/18r The last owner was using the same wheels for both winter/summer tires so i have a set of unmounted 18" winter tires. Since the wheels are kinda used, i think it would be a good time to upgrade to new wheels, and i can get a good deal here for vmr v710, problem is: will my actual tires will fit on these wheels, which are 8.5 front and 9.5 rear ? If they fit, will it look stupid or tire size is in the range ? Next question, what's the max offset i can go for a flush fitment (oem has room for 12-15mm spacers) |

A 225mm tire will fit on a 8.5" wheel, as will a 255 on a 9.5". That's perfectly acceptable and within recommended limits. That's probably the recommended size anyway.
I'll pass on the spacer question. You probably can't do much, and it's not my thing.

If you're going to run our 18x8.5 ET45/18x9.5 ET50, we recommend the 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 tire sizing. You shouldn't have issues with that setup. I wouldn't recommend spacers with them though, since they're already pretty flush. You would need to do some fender work to push them out more with those tire specs.
We always recommend that you measure to see how much clearance you have to work with.

thanks guys, now it looks like my only problem is taking a decision on which wheels to put on haha, but bimmian.com did most of the job for me since they only have v701s and v710s avail for our chassis at the moment
