Smile My black e81 M 118D - pics & mods

Hi all from spain!

Here is my e81, a little black thing with crappy engine and ugly rims haha
I bought it from BMW Premium with 11k km and I've made some little mods to it.
In general, I'm happy with the car (especially with the sport suspension and the interiors), even I should have chosen another engine. The N47 engine with 143cv is slow and it sounds like a grass mower..on the positive side it has a consumption of 37 MPG.

Mods I've done:

First of all I installed a custom audio setup of 820rms watts total (I love it)
It includes front doors speakers and tweeters, speakers hidden under the rear tray and a custom subwoofer box in the trunk.
That's how my trunk looks now:

Months later i retrofitted the Professional with USB & bluetooth

Then I decided to do something with the interior lighting: I Installed slight orange leds under the door interior handles, under the climate panel and at the footwell spaces. I installed white leds under the doors (they turn on when the doors are open) too.

My car had halogen headlights, but a month ago I retrofitted the 2012 xenon headlights. I bought 20 watt cree led bulbs on ebay for the angel eyes. I really like!
I retrofitted my custom front grilles too: black outer ring and chrome vertical blades. At The same time, I painted the lower grille in gloss black.
Here is the result:

Update:
Two weeks ago I added the rear LED tail lights to complete the halogen-to-xenon upgrade. They were coded months ago, when I installed the headlights, so I only had to spend 10€ on pins and make some changes on the wiring to make them work correctly.

I have in my mind a rims change, but it means a lot of money and I don't know when I'll be able to afford it.

Hope you all like my car!
Coment please

Greetings

I think your car looks very nice. The orange interior lighting is a cool touch.

The pics are taken in the darkness with long exposure time (about 30 sec). In that time, I run around the car with a led light, creating those light stripes. After some photoshop work, the photo looks good!

The footwell lights are $2 orange led panels from ebay. I installed them instead the Oem bulb lights. [Photo here]

For the bottom of the doors i bought white led lamps (like Oem but led). Finally, for the interior under-handle light I drilled a small hole and glued a orange led inside. [Photo here]

Interesting, my car doesn't have lights in the footwells :'( I don't know how to retrofit them is there a kit?

Did you buy the door lamps as a kit?

My car didn't have lights in the footwells. I wired the led panels to the roof lights, so they light up when the roof light does (when a door is open or when the car is unlocked from the key).

I bought the door lamps on ebay (about $40). I think there is not any Oem courtesy lights retrofit kit.. except the pre-ordered 'ilumination pack'.
