135i Single Turbo Massive Oil Leak

Currently have a 2008 135i, single turbo with catless exhaust. I had a vented to atmosphere oil catch can with OEM oil filler cap.

Went to a non vented to atmosphere oil catch can with a VTT crankcase breather. All was well.

Got tired of the oil vapor smell. Went back to the OEM oil cap and started the car, it seemed to rev higher on start up and was producing a large amount of white smoke from the exhaust and let it idle for a moment. Idle started becoming rough and the turbo started shaking a little. Instantly turned off the car and checked underneath and had a massive oil leak under the turbo area and dripping off the waste gate dumps.

Went back to the vented cap and turbo and idle seemed fine, did not drive the car and getting it towed tomorrow. Any ideas on causes and what is leaking?
