Can anyone tell me what this wire is for?

I just purchased my first BMW, a 2013 135is coupe. When i was installing my new grill earlier today, i noticed this unplugged wire harness just hanging behind the passenger side headlight. Anyone know what its for?

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...t#post19346618 it’s for the original fan that was on the car. Here is my thread about it. Also make sure to check your fuse box, my fuse was still plugged in and that could have caused potential problems.
