Update— replaced dme relay and it looks to have resolved the issue.
Looking for some help. Had a crank but no start issue yesterday. The car had been sitting for 5 days at the airport but started fine and we drove home, about a 20 min drive. A couple hours later it would not start. I ran the codes and got the following: 2A3F 2ACC 2ACB 2AB6 A0B4 A0B3 I tried clearing them but they returned and the car would not start. I put a battery charger on it for the night and went to bed. This AM I dug back in and again had the crank but no start situation. I ran the scan again and had the same codes. I tried a couple more times to clear them and eventually had some success. The first codes to clear were the 2A3F and 2ACC. Then 2ACB cleared and eventually 2AB6. At this point the car started. This has happened twice before, both times after sitting outside in the cold and I thought it was battery related. I replaced the battery after the 2nd time and thought the issue was behind me. Now it has happened again and right after starting and driving so I am stumped. Could it be an intermittent failure of the DME relay? Something else? |
