New engine

What do you guys think about a Used N51 engine with 45 miles for 1,500? Is this a good deal?

Nothing wrong with miles and price far as I can tell however, there's a number of unknowns that could effect that. If I needed to swap out the wife's motor and 1500 was all I paid I'd be okay with that.

Price seems fine, particularly if you're able to get a video or see it running.

If it was me, I'd do the oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket, and oil pan gasket while it's on a stand. Oil pan in particular is annoying to do in the car.
