Hey guys,
I have stock M-sport suspension, M3 control arms, Dinanc camber plates, and free front camber mod. I'm thinking of running an 18x8 ET40 square setup with 245/35/18. Would this fit? Would I need to roll fenders? I feel like rear should fit since people put 12mm spacers on the stock ET52 264 rim. I feel like front should fit since people run square 264s (using rear rims on front) with 10mm spacers. Thoughts? Thanks, NewD |

You should not have issues with camber plates, but ultimately it may depend on your choice of tire. Some 245 tires will fit with no problem, but others could be close.

I want to put on 19x10 Rotiform Las-r rims with a 40 offset but I am not sure if they will fit on the 128i. I have it lowered but that is all that I have done to it.

You are not going to fit a 10" front rim on a 1 series.

Hi all,
I´m new to this forum but I´ve been quite active at zroadster.com. My 2003 Z4 e85 is sleeping in a garage back in Germany. So i moved last year from Germany to Ann Arbor, Mi and got me an 2012 128i. I already installed a magnaflow catback and had to change VVT gasket and camshaft sensors and solenoid valves. Now I´m looking into new rims. With those weird offsets for the rear I´ll probably go with VMR or Apex. It´s stock suspension until now but probably keep that because Michigan roads are too bad. So wheels 18x8,5 ET/Offset 45 for front and 18x9,5 ET/offset58 for rear would fit I guess. 225 40 R18 front and 255 35 R18 for rear. Are there any guys in this forum who work at apex or vmr who give you a discount? At zroadster.com we had something like this which was cool. Thanks Peter |

I came across a deal on a set of wheels with the following specs and I am wondering if I will have major clearance issues, especially in the rear:
Squared 17x8 ET 45 Indy 500 245/40 Thoughts? (Thanks in advance) |

For comparison, the ‘existing’ is the biggest factory setup I found listed, new is your setup: https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...h=8&offset2=45 A great reference: https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide My 17x8.5 ET40 245/40 do not rub on my lowered car (ever). My 17x9 ET41 255/40 rub in the rear with straight line driving (expansion joint impacts), but not while under cornering load. I need a 5mm spacer in front. I’m heavily cambered -3.6/-2.2 AND rolled fenders in the back. New untested setup for me will be 17x9 ET45 255/40 with a bigger front spacer, the rear SHOULD be rub free.

Or keep checking the classified section, they are very popular wheels that come up a lot. If you have a hookup at zroadster.com, why don't you contact them Last edited by Fakemike; 04-05-2021 at 01:10 PM.. |

Notes: Have notice a slight rub from the right rear on hard bumps at higher speeds. Nothing during daily driving.

I was hoping to step up to 255/40 but it seems like I might not be able to with these offsets Maybe I just need more rear ride height? Follow the F1 trend of high rake cars lol |

Looking to run 18 x 8 Offset 40 in square setup.
I currently have 225/40 and 255/40 on the factory 264. No fitment problems. I have the Bilstein B12 kit, and Dinan D160-0003 Camber Plates. I'd *LIKE* to put that rubber on but I'm worried about the 255 rears. The reason, is that they're new. According to willtheyfit.com and tiresize.com they don't look too much wider. Do you think this will work? I really don't want to buy new rubber. Ultimately, I'd like to end up at 245 all around. 35 or 40 ratio. Thank you! |

E36 M Contours fit. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I've always been a fan of these wheels. Wanted to stick with 17s to have a decent sidewall for crappy roads and parallel parking on all the nasty curbs we have here. Good tires are also very affordable in this size.
Specs: 17x7.5 F / 17x8.5R, both ET41 Conti ECS 225/45 F / 245/40 R Aftermarket programmable TPMS BMWP Springs (T1 F, T2 R)/Koni Orange In-spec alignment, no fender rolling Stock control arms/no camber plates
