+1.

Tell the guy that in your informal Internet poll, almost 50% of responders are asking for a limited slip - as a cost option, no problem.

And about 25% wanted cloth seats (or leather/cloth combo). I'd personally pay half the cost of leather for that cloth/leather affair.

Oops, forgot - sunroof delete option. Give me back $500 off that $1000 option.

And allow the 1 in the CCA loyalty rebate program.

Why not print this thread out and hand it to him? Maybe an invite to the forum to directly talk to owners would work.

i doubt he cares about any particular models.
All he must care about is the numbers and how well they sell.

how does one get a job at BMWNA?

what are some of the perks that employees get?

(as a related note, i spoke to someone who worked at the VPC and he said that they get to lease any BMW for 1 year at VERY favorable terms)

I'd like the option of the fabric/leather seats like the EU models.

It was impossible to get close to him They did a special announcement and he was driven to a stage in a Hydrogen prototype sedan. I did get a little information. A clean Diesel will be introduced to USA market in December. Mini Will have an electric car at the LA Auto show. BMW is developing much smaller cars perhaps a triple turbo four is in the future. This was a grand opening for a local dealers new place. To say it was over the top would be an understatement. The service garage is nicer than my living room.
