Week 42 Production

So looks as though some of the Week 41 production actually went into production this past week.

I wanted to start a thread to see if anyone else here is Week 42 and if they have received any updates?

if you have week 42 when you call BMW NA does it say that your car is scheduled to begin production in week 42?
I should have week 42, but when I call it says no scheduled date

I'm week 39 and leading up to production the 1800 stated it was scheduled for production, but no start date. When I moved into production, the 1800 stated the production had started and included an estimated completion date.

The 1800 is delayed as well, but your CA can give you the most updated status by checking the order system.

I just got the call that my car began production this morning at 6:55AM!

CA suggests that it will be here (East Coast) in 3-4 weeks. He indicated that cars routinely get to the dealer (in VA) in 16 days after they get on a ship!

Just curious how you guys know what week production you are, if the 800-number says you are scheduled for production with no confirmed production date. When I called BMW NA they reiterated the same thing, and couldn't comment on a "production week".

Your CA should be able to tell you the production week.

The printout I received from the dealer for my order production number lists the scheduled production week. If you request it from your dealer they should be able to tell you.

I'm experiencing the same exact thing. After speaking with my CA I was told it is in production and the 800# may just be behind.
Excited? haha This is killing me

My week 42 production car was completed on 10/12, released to carrier 10/15, and at port of exit since 10/21. It is, as am I, destined for PCD.

Your lucky...my week 42 became week 43....but then again I don't have to wait for the boat...I'm assigned to Germany so can't check BMWNA website for status ...it should be in build right now.

So update is my car is at port of exit waiting for a ship. Next ship is the Torrens that will dock and depart on November 7 and arrive at Port Hueneme on November 30th.

Next one is the Mignon that arrives November 19 and not in Port Hueneme until December 12.

Really hoping for the Torrens. Anyone else waiting for West Coast?
