FW1 Spray Wax?
Has anyone ever used FW1 waterless wax?
I was filling up at a gas station and there was a stand selling it. One of their salesmen came up to me while I was filling up and gave me a quick demonstration. He said I could use it on any exterior part of the car. He used some on one of my wheels and raved that it keeps the brake dust from building up quickly and so thick on the wheel. He also showed me that I can use on it on windows and it'll keep the window fingerprint-proof for a few weeks. The parts he sprayed with it did come out very glossy and reflective. I didn't buy any but the short demo was somewhat convincing. Anyone know if this stuff is actually worth it? I'm not hoping this stuff will replace a good polish/wax job, but it looked like a great spray and wipe product for touch ups.

I am not convinced by this product, but i am sort of a old school wax guy so. My buddy used this on his 335i convert and it turned out pertty good. He likes it now. So, it's up to you man.
I stay away, seems like a cheap product to me. But, hey it saves time and does look good.

These spray on waxes never seem to work very well. I used a couple spray wax type product a couple years ago, and if you did not put more every week it would look like crap... Not worth it IMHO

I had the same thing happen (2x's now) while filling up with gas. Of course my car has a fesh coat of Zaino on it. The girl yesturday had a towel that looked like she had sprayed the wax in the middle of the road and wiped it up, very dirty.....I could only imagine what that wax and that towel would have done to my Jet Black paint.
There is no good replacement for a proper wash, followed by a good sealant/wax. |
