Zaino Users- Helpfull Tip

Today's Helpfull tip (I have many more to come)

--ZAINO SYRINGE--
I've found a new Zaino distributer closer to where I live. They offer a medical syringe that is the best thing a Zaino user can have.

Why? It allows you to mix your Zaino and ZFX in small amounts. Today I loaded up 7cc's of Z-2 with 1 drop of ZFX. I covered my car with two coats and had extra.

The clean up was a snap, now the syringe is ready for another day of Zaino.

Wow! Even more impressive is that I've seen a video on YouTube of a Zaino'ed car being sprayed with a hose...the water sheets off instead of beads (like with wax).

I've seen a lot of black, and dark blue cars Zaino'ed and they shine like a mirror. Obviously, a white car won't show the reflection as nicely, but does anyone have a good picture of a white car that's been Zaino'ed?

JohnL135I, how did you strip the wax before applying?

JohnL135I, very clever idea!

I'm not a big fan of the mixing bottle provided by Zaino -- you can't use all the z2 that gets clogged and stuck in the bottle. This syringe idea will use every last drop.

They supply those same syringes when you buy ink jet cartridge refill kits.

You can probably pick them up for free or cheap at any pharmacy.

I'll wash the car with Dawn as per the Zaino instructions. I also polished the paint to remove swirls/defects and any products previously used on the paint.

Ah, I read that on their website as well. No fears while washing down with dish detergent?

Nope, as long as you only do it prior to applying some type of wax or sealant. If you don't, then your paint will be left unprotected.

I would also avoid getting Dawn on the soft top for all of us vert owners.
