1m/// Vs Audi Tt Rs
TT RS= 340 hp 3200 lbs, LSD, RWD bias AWD some say will head to the US with a Double clutch tranny in addition to the Manual. It has lapped some tracks in germany only 1 second behind a base corvette which weighs roughly the same and has more HP.... so it DOES handle. MTM tuning can tune it to 400hp with just chip. I'm guessing around 50k, new.
1m///= 360 hp 3300lbs(my guess), LSD RWD. I'm sure it will handle and cost around 50k. HMMMMM. Discuss. |

Price premium RS > M A TTs is 50k, RS is going to be 60-70 range.
Handling: RS = M, hopefully but RS has the weight advantage. Drove the TT before and it felt like a go-kart compare to my old 135i. |

Yep, base price is 45,900.00, so probably 55k base for RS. But they have less options than a base BMW's, they could likely be within 5k of each other with the typical options checked.

You can bet on AT LEAST a $55K base for the TT-RS. I'd rock one, although I prefer the look of the TT-S over the RS version. For that price though, I'd be looking elsewhere. The ///M1 will be NICELY optioned at that price.

I could have sworn I saw a TT-RS at a local "stadt car show" with a "sticker price" of 84k euros! I remembered thinking like HELL NO!!!
I just was at the Audi configurator(audi.de) and the car maxed out at 61K. No DSG option though! Thats with just three options, metalic paint, premium leather and 20 inch S-wheels. Base price was 56K euros! |

Currently it's only available with a manual gearbox. Apart from the nice 5 cyl engine sound, it's got pretty luke warm reviews here in the UK, especially given that it costs GB£43k before you add any options If you want a 'drivers' car, M1 (or whatever it will be called) will be heaps better. |

I do not know which will be faster. Because if the M1 will be faster than TT-RS it means it will be faster than M3, but it was said that the M1 will not be faster than M3. And the gap is to small for the M1 to be between TT-RS and M3. I hope TT-RS < M3 < M1.

Says electronically controlled multi plate clutch, so does everywhere else I look. I may have misinformation about the awd system.... I've read alot of reviews and so may have mixed something up. TT-RS does 0-100 in 4.6s?
TT-RS will be faster than the M1... probably around corners too. |
