Aria Brisbane Meet

Hi guys,

Anyone interested in getting together for a meal at Aria?

They are having a set dinner 'special' in the coming weeks which costs $75 for a 3 course meal, plus a wine or a Peroni beer. It is only for tables of 6, 8 or 10 people.

I have had great experiences at Aria so far so thought with this promotion it might be a good time to get together for another nice meal. We need to know asap to book for this, so if anyone is interested please post now!

I am going there next month for the degustation so put me down as a maybe depending on when it is.

Here is the menu for the suggested day of booking, Monday 21st March. They only have it for 3 weeks, on a Sun/Mon/Tuesday. 3 different menus for each week.

Carpaccio of tuna with king prawns and daikon dressing
Salad of beetroot, goat's cheese and lettuce with hazelnut dressing
Roast Moran Family lamb leg with preserved lemon and char grilled vegetables
Valrhona chocolate tart with raspberries and crème fraîche

Peroni beer, 2010 Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc or 2010 Cork Cutters Sangiovese with EACH course

And just confirmed, it is only for tables of 6-8 people...

Thanks for the info Richard, I may be in Sydney on that date but I will confirm tomorrow. In the meantime can you put myself + 1 on that table since its maximum 8 on each

Hmmm... ok well we kind of have a problem of too many people now! Adrian and Betty are in, and waiting to hear back from Warren. Maybe we could do two tables?

I think 2 tables is the way to go, especially if we can get them close together

don't you guys think more will be more negotiable?

I am sure they can do one table for the special, or even have a choice of menu for the same price - can you add 1 + 1(?) for me as well. I will come down - not sure if my other half would.

just checked - it would be $120 for a three course meal with choice of 5 for group of 10-14. I guess $75 option looks attractive.
