First-Aid kit?

Is the First-Aid kit standard?
It's supposed to be located on the right hand side of the trunk.

I'm just wondering if that's an option or not, because I don't think I saw it from the accessory brochure.

You're welcome

Strange it isn't standard in the US

Come to think of it: I owned 4 instead of 3 BMWs before with the FA kit

If you take Euro Delivery, you will get the first aid kit and an emergency triangle, along with the European license plates (you can take the front plate home and the car will be delivered to your dealer with the rear plate on your car, in most cases), you have to take these things home, they are not allowed through customs when the car arrives in the U.S. (except for the license plate). If you do Euro Deliver, you have to pack the items in checked luggage. These items are not allowed in carry on luggage.

There is a bracket for the triangle in the upper left side of the trunk and a open compartment that the first aid kit fits in perfectly on the lower right side of the trunk.

Can you store any of this stuff in the trunk or the glove compartment? Also, if you do a lot of shopping, can you stick your purchases in the trunk if you don't want to carry it back on the plane with you? Reading your post, I'm guessing the answer is that US customs won't allow anything on or in the car to come through.

No, they inspect the car and make sure you've taken everything out when you drop it off. They claim anything you leave in the car will not be there when you get the car back.
