245 Tires, Camber Question
What Alignment Specs are you all running on 245 Square tire set up? I currently have -2.8 upfront and -2.2 in Rear with 0 Toe front and 1/16 Toe in but I find it difficult to rotate rear end and my straight line acceleration is squirly at times.

I'd probably want more front camber, but the rest of your setup will matter as well, which wasn't described at all. Spring rates? Bars? Tire compound?

Original Rival or Rival S? What sway bars?
For what it's worth, a balanced setup would involve a substantially larger than stock (19/20mm bar) with those rates, while keeping stock front. I'd probably run substantially more rear spring, a bar as I described in the rear, and a larger front bar as well. |

That's a forum myth perpetuated on here. Kyle's won ProSolos before he had a diff, and had the big rear bar....
If the car was droop travel limited in the rear, I'd agree to some end, but it's not. |

SuperPro, UUC, and H&R are the ones large enough to make a substantial wheel rate difference.
Or the E93 M3 rear bar. Last edited by RyanDavies; 09-15-2016 at 09:14 AM.. |

Yea with that rear spring, you need some rear bar or something else to help with your wheel rate.
And yea, it's not as awful as you think. If you want rotation a rear bar will only help. |

I'd suggest try some rear springs in the range of 700 - 800 lb as a first step, and then decide if you still need a rear sway bar.
If its a track car you probably don't need a rear sway bar, but you will probably want/need to get a LSD anyway. If Autocross, then other posters here will have it covered! |

In general you'll want to keep your rear camber +1 degree more then your front.
So with you running -2.8 up front, you'll want to be around -1.8~ in the rear. Or increase front camber to around -3.2 to make the difference that way as well. Rear toe looks good. You could run a bit of toe out in the front if you're doing AutoX, for track 0 is good. |
