This kit replaces all speakers of your 1 series.

It will fit with standard Hi-Fi speaker or Harman Kardon sound system.

My gf and I was so surprised how this kit dramatically improves the sound quality of the standard speaker system when I returned my 135i to stock before trade in.

I sold my 135i years ago and this kit was sitting in my garage collecting duct.

I did the installation myself and it was straightforward which basically plug and play.

If you're local in San Diego, I can help you do the installation as well.

The kit has all the tools you needed to diy.

I never sit in a 1 series equipped with alpine unit so I can't say anything about it.

How does this kit compare to Harmon Kardon in terms of sound upgrades? I'm sure it helps the standard Hi-Fi but is it really worth it if you already have HK?

Yes, it has tweeters and OEM cover for A pillar.

I never ridden on 1 series with Harmon Kardon so I'm not sure about it.

As Bavsound website claimed, these are upgraded speakers that replace Harman Kardon so it's your right to trust them or not.
