I'm the one selling the AW in SA (due to change in personal circumstances). I found it extremely difficult to price the car as dealers seem to be massively overpricing them and I didnt want to artificially lower their value by going in too low, being a realist I know it won't sell for what its advertised - they arent really a classic yet and there are cancelled orders popping up at dealers.

I probably shouldnt be showing my cards already but I think us sellers will need to reduce to more like 10% off the advertised price to move them quickly. I could be wrong, time will tell.

As soon as the last of the new ones are picked up and all are delivered over the next couple of months, I think the used market will flatten out round the low hundreds, time will tell I guess.

Having done the ring around yesterday and finding 4 NEW cars at between $111 and $113k drive away it will make it hard to sell private at the moment, then again some people are silly and look at carsales and think that is all there is. Dealers are not allowed to advertise brand new stock, as such you have to call around to see what is there and there are a few obviously.

Hi,

I am selling my AW 1M, Pick up April 2012 from Adelaide BMW.

No other options were ordered on it, I did have the dealer fit some tinting and I also had Splash Wash in SA apply a Gtechniq C1 coating to the body and the wheels.

I also used Nanolex and interior protection as per Raj's recommendations (Thanks Raj!)

Its done 4800 km's and had its first service (oil and filter change) at 2,500km.

It's in as new condition as you'd expect.

I've listed it on carsales for $108,500 but happy to talk further if you are serious about buying.

The vehicle is based in SA with around 9 months of rego left on it.

Found another BSM 1M, in Victoria, if anyone is deperate, they are wanting $4K over retail !!! they wont't pass on the dealer delivery EPP which is where there big markup resides ($116,600 drive away loaded). Good luck to them it will sell, just not to this buyer, nor will they sell me anything in the future.

Doncatser Bundoora - Ricky the SA was very helpful in finding the car however.

I am getting close, I have two cars on the go at moment, Canberra are trying to get one for me, June 29 build on a boat right now, 1st week of September del, which suits mine just great.

Hopefully will have it all sorted today, it will be BSM though!
